Deze tot hotel-/charterschip omgebouwde Luxe Motor is gecertificeerd voor het varen met 19 hotelgasten of 26 dagpassagiers. Het schip beschikt over een ruim dek met een goede toegang tot het gastenverblijf, waar zich negen gastenhutten bevinden, elk voorzien van een en suite badkamer. Daarnaast zijn er een professionele keuken en een royale salon aanwezig. Voor de bemanning is een ruime achterroef ingericht met een tweepersoonsbed, een eigen badkamer en toiletruime en een directe doorgang naar de stuurhut. In 2007 is een nieuwe DAF-hoofdmotor geïnstalleerd. Tevens is het schip uitgerust met een BW-generator. In het voorschip is een spudpaal aangebracht, waardoor het afmeren aanzienlijk wordt vereenvoudigd. In mei 2026 is het onderwaterschip geïnspecteerd ten behoeve van de hercertificering. Voor de verlenging van het certificaat dienen nog enkele werkzaamheden te worden uitgevoerd. Door omstandigheden is het onderhoud de laatste tijd achtergebleven. Wij zijn daarom op zoek naar een nieuwe eigenaar die bereid is het schip weer in uitstekende staat te brengen en haar oude glorie terug te geven, of haar een nieuwe bestemming wil geven als comfortabel (varend) woonschip.

Deze beestachtige Wellcraft 233 Eclipse is net bij ons binnen. De 250 PK sterke Mercruiser motor is te varen op benzine of gas, je regelt dit met een simpele druk op de knop op het dashboard. De Barkas Buchliner 8.50 is een stoer en degelijk gebouwd stalen motorjacht, ontworpen door ingenieur L.M. Huitema. Een bijzonder schip met verrassend veel ruimte en vooral een zeer groot vaargebied. Dankzij de geringe diepgang van slechts 62 cm en een doorvaarthoogte van circa 1,68 meter zijn ook veel kleinere vaarwegen en lage bruggen bereikbaar. De ruime open kuip ligt dicht bij het water en sluit met slechts één trede aan op de vrijwel gelijkvloerse kajuit. Binnen valt direct het mooie teakhouten interieur op. De salon heeft bijna 2 meter stahoogte en beschikt over een gezellige zit, kombuis en binnenbesturing. Voorin bevindt zich een aparte kajuit met twee vaste slaapplaatsen, toiletruimte en hangkast. De dinette kan als derde slaapplaats worden gebruikt. De Barkas beschikt over zowel binnen- als buitenbesturing. De Vetus 42 pk viercilinder dieselmotor heeft circa 1.891 draaiuren. Dankzij de aanwezige boeg- én hekschroef is het schip bijzonder gemakkelijk te manoeuvreren. Ook qua uitrusting is het schip compleet. De bekleding is in 2019 vernieuwd en in 2025 zijn twee nieuwe 120 Ah accu's geplaatst. Verder zijn onder andere verwarming, een 50 liter boiler, koelkast, zonnepanelen en walstroom aanwezig.
