Beautiful authentic Zeeuwse Schouw in very good condition. Low maintenance so more time to sail!
Beautiful surprisingly spacious zeeuwse schouw of the famous Kooijman and de Vries yard in a very good condition and low maintenance.
The past 3 years there has been a lot of maintenance performed on woodwork, steelwork, cockpit floor renewed, shore power connection and battery charger, hot air heating, toilet, halyards renewed, etc. The ship was completely sandblasted and put in a 2 component system in 2016. 'Remora' has excellent sailing characteristics, is fully equipped for competitive sailing and in 2017 equipped with a new sail wardrobe (Den Boer).Finally, in 2014 a new engine was installed so she is fully ready to sail waiting for a new owner!

In 2015 the wooden sliding hatch was replaced for a low maintenance steel sliding hatch and new steel cockpit benches were installed.
Recently woodwork outside completely stripped bare and provided with a new 2-component paint system, also in 2016 the ship was completely sandblasted and put in a 2-component paint system, so the hull is in a top condition.

A travvelar for the mainsheet was installed in 2015, providing extra space in the cockpit. The full set of sails was renewed in 2017 (Den Boer). In addition, a little-used botter jib is present. All sheets come out in the cockpit making for easy (even single-handed) sailing. All halyards and sheets renewed in 2022. The mast lowering installation ensures that the mast can be lowered within 10 minutes. Certificate of measurement present.
