The vessel sits solidly in the water and offers smooth, stable handling thanks to its robust steel hull and superstructure. Propulsion is provided by a 420 hp Caterpillar C7DI six-cylinder diesel engine, coupled to a V-drive with a water-lubricated 50 mm propeller shaft and a 5-blade stainless steel propeller. Maneuvering is easy and precise with the hydraulically proportional Vetus bow and stern thrusters, controlled via joystick from the helm station or the Hydronautica RMC remote control.
