De J/92 is een van de leukste zeiljachten om mee te zeilen, fully-crewed of solo, de J/92 tovert elke keer weer een glimlach op uw gezicht. J-boats staan bekend om haar balsa-core dek, welke na verloop van tijd zacht worden door inwatering, de NrJ heeft hier dan ook al een foam-core gesloten cel structuur op de bekende "zwakke" plekken gekregen. Hierdoor is zij weer vrij van problemen en licht en sterk voor de toekomst.
