Arcona performance cruisers zullen altijd prachtig zeilen, maar bij weinig wind, wanneer u de motor moet gebruiken, is elektrische voortstuwing de beste keuze. Het strakke en lichte ontwerp van de romp werkt uitstekend samen met elektrische voortstuwing. Comfort, prestaties en geen uitstoot als je de motor moet gebruiken; wat wil je nog meer? In antwoord op de vraag van de klant heeft de Arcona 415 de optie van een uitvoering met drie hutten of een uitvoering van twee hutten met een extra badkamer in de eigenaarshut. De Arcona 415, met haar prachtige lijnen, moderne rompvorm, open spiegel, goed toegankelijke opbergruimte en veel lichtinval, zet de traditie van de Arcona 410 voort als een hoogwaardige performance cruiser. Zoals elke Arcona is de 415 gebouwd met aandacht voor detail. Qua vermogen is ze uitgerust met een Oceanvolt Servoprop 15kW elektrisch voortstuwingssysteem met ‘variable pitch propeller technology’, waarbij de schroef zich aanpast op basis van de snelheid. De 15 kW elektromotor is het equivalent van een 50 pk dieselmotor op onze 40-43ft jachten. Ze is standaard voorzien van een 19 kWh accu.  We zijn trots op onze samenwerking met Oceanvolt voor het voortstuwingssysteem. Oceanvolt vertegenwoordigt ’s werelds absolute topbedrijven als het gaat om het ontwerpen en produceren van elektrische motorsystemen. Het lichtgewicht systeem maakt gebruik van hydro-regeneratie, waarbij via de propeller tijdens het zeilen vermogen wordt geregenereerd om op te slaan in de accu voor later gebruik. Regeneratie hangt af van de vaarsnelheid, maar onze klanten hebben gezien dat de hydro-regeneratie al begint bij een snelheid van slechts 3,3 knopen. De voordelen van elektrische aandrijving zijn ontelbaar; geen uitstoot hebben waardoor geen uitlaat nodig is, de voortdurende kostenbesparing ten opzichte van het tanken van diesel, het minimale geluid en minder trillingen, de grotere leefruimte, het volledige energiebeheer, het gebruiksgemak en gemak qua onderhoud, en het hebben van een algemeen lichter gewicht van de boot met betere prestaties tot gevolg.
