De Steeler Bronson 50 is de eerste tender cruiser op de markt waarbij het voorschip in open verbinding staat met de kuip. Deze open lay out, die uiteraard ook geheel afsluitbaar is met een glazen pui constructie, maakt van de B50 een powercruiser die veel meer leefruimte en comfort biedt dat wat men tot nu toe in dit segment gewend was. De riante kombuis aan bakboord en de zithoek aan bakboord die split level geplasatst zijn voor de kuip vergroten niet alleen het ruimtegevoel aan boord, maar vergoten ook het comfort aan boord.
De hydrailische bimini van de Bronson 50 is een Steeler innovatie met twee functies. Ze beschermt niet alleen tegen de zon, maar door de kantelfunctie kan de bimini over de voorruit worden gelegd indien de weersomstandigheden daarom vragen.
Het optimaal genieten van die verschillende ruimtes, van boeg tot achtersteven, wordt gewaarborgd door de geïntegreerde kuip en kajuit, die in feite zijn ontworpen als één open ruimte waarin alle mensen aan boord makkelijk met elkaar kunnen blijven communiceren. Laten we samen de Bronson 50 eens goed bekijken, te beginnen bij de achtersteven.
Het achterste dek is een tegen de wind afgeschermde bank voorzien van zijtafels (met daaronder opslagruimte om elke centimeter optimaal te gebruiken, zoals u gewend bent van Steeler). Dit is een van die plekken op een boot waar de eigenaren en de gasten het liefst zitten, terwijl dat vaak niet kan. Meer naar voren toe zijn brede ligstoelen voorzien van een rugleuning die u naar achteren of naar voren kunt schuiven, zodat u zelf kunt bepalen hoe u en in welke richting u wilt liggen. Onder het loungebed bevindt zich nóg een grote opbergruimte met ruimte voor een eventuele kleine boot.

Steeler Yachts launches first Bronson 50 in St. Tropez. Unmistakably Steeler, Stunningly different. During the first sea trials in St. Tropez the weather conditions were force 5-6 wind and a choppy sea, ideal for the Bronson 50 to be tested. Remarkable was the complete absence of spray water, the low noise level enabling conversations at full speed, smooth wave handling and excellent view from the steering area at all speeds. Owner René van de Berg: “my first experience with the Steeler Bronson 50 is beyond expectation. The interior is spacious and the glass sliding roof is magnificent. Apart from the comfortable interior the sailing characteristics are amazing. Dry and stable cruising at a choppy sea at a speed of 30-35 knots is an enjoyment for the captain and his guests!” Naval Architect Menno van Dijk from Studio Delta explains: “The key in this design is the fact that we were briefed to pay a lot of attention to the seagoing behavior of the ship. Often only the top speed at flat water is a priority for shipyards. But to our enjoyment, Steeler Yachts allowed us to go all out on comfortable seaworthiness at high speed. The Bronson 50 therefor reflects our vision: A fast going yacht also should be an excellent seagoing yacht. The Steeler Bronson 50 is the first powerboat on the market to offer an open connection between the suave cruiser-style interior areas and luxurious outdoor spaces. Blending the sleek lines of a powerboat with the luxuries of a motoryacht, this remarkable split-level layout is set to change everything. Currently three Bronson 50’s have been sold (St. Tropez, Ibiza, Mexico). Hull numbers four and five are under construction as well. A new yachting experience Optimal enjoyment of every different space from bow to stern is assured thanks to the integrated cockpit and cabin area, which is in effect designed as one open space where all the people onboard can easily stay in touch with each other. The kings of the cockpit can sit on the four professional helm seats looking forward as one or more operates the three widescreen displays, the helm and co-driver console. If watching the world go by makes you peckish, you can step down into the kitchenette to rustle up drinks and food while still maintaining direct contact with the people who are at the helm or chilling on the sunbed. This split-level area is another nice place to relax on the sofa away from sun and wind while still feeling very much in the thick of the action. This whole area can be closed off at the push of a button with a glass ceiling roof. The interior further features two double bedrooms, two toilets and a shower cabin. T-Top and Hardtop “in one” The Bronson 50 that will be on display at the Cannes Yachting Festival will feature a combination of a T-Top and a Hardtop. This innovative Vario Roof can be used in two positions: “open” is bimini position protecting against the sun; “closed” is Hardtop position whereby the entire cockpit is closed. Convincing performance The Bronson 50 is custom built in aluminium and standard equipped with twin Volvo Penta IPS 800 (optional IPS 950) for comfortable and quiet cruising at 32 knots, reaching a top speed of 36 knots. At 32 knots the diesel consumption is approx. 5 liters per nautical mile, which in combination with 2200 liter diesel tank results in a generous range of 440 nautical miles.-
