Eind 1992 werd deze specifieke Sunseeker Portofino 32 gebouwd als promotiemodel, bedoeld om te worden tentoongesteld op toonaangevende Europese botenshows. In plaats van de standaard benzinemotoren werd dit schip uitgerust met de meest geavanceerde dieselmotoren die op dat moment beschikbaar waren: twee Volvo Penta 6-cilinder motoren, voorzien van compressoren voor kracht en souplesse in het lage toerenbereik en tevens turbo’s voor optimale prestaties en efficiëntie bij hogere toerentallen. Ook werd dit schip destijds zeer compleet uitgevoerd met onder andere een elektrische kookplaat, een Eberspächer diesel-heteluchtverwarming en een Fischer Panda generator, welke momenteel slechts 191 draaiuren heeft. Wat toen gold als een absolute top-of-the-line sportscruiser, blijkt vandaag de dag een tijdloos en bijzonder hoogwaardig gebouwd schip dat nog steeds tot de verbeelding spreekt. Eenmaal aan boord waant u zich in een tijdcapsule: niet alleen de gelcoat verkeert in zeer goede staat, ook de bekleding is nog zacht en helder wit. Er is gemiddeld slechts circa 40 uur per jaar met het schip gevaren en dat is overal zichtbaar, zelfs het originele ‘Sunseeker’ serviesgoed heeft de tand des tijds doorstaan.
