De Telegraaf IV is een passagiersschip met in totaal drie dekken en gecertificeerd voor maximaal 200 gasten. Op het bovendek en het onderdek zijn een dansvloer en DJ-booth aanwezig. De Rodman 42 werd ontworpen en gebouwd in opdracht van het Spaanse koningshuis om het Italiaanse Grand Soleil te kunnen verslaan, wat ook gelukt is.  Koning Filipe was toen de drijvende kracht achter deze ontwikkeling.  Rodman is een grote spaanse botenbouwer, maar vooral van motorboten.  Er zijn in totaal 7 Rodman 42 gebouwd. De boot was wereldkampioen ORC in 2003 onder de naam Telefonica Movistar en wereldkampioen ORC in 2010 onder de naam Beluga. De boot is gemodificeerd naar de huidige ORC regels met een andere kiel en boegspriet. Daarna heeft de boot vele successen behaald met het team Phosphorus. De laatste jaren deelname lokale wedstrijden en internationale wedstrijden waaronder de fastnet van 2023 en en de fastnet van 2025.   De boot is klaar om volgende fastnet te varen. De laatste 3 jaar is er € 80.000 euro geïnvesteerd in de boot.
