But we are also convinced that a good electric boat will probably not be not be an existing diesel model with an electric motor. In electric boating, hydrodynamics, resistance, theoretical hull speed and water handling play a much larger role. More power and pushing costs excessive a lot of power, and adding unlimited batteries doesn't really testify to sustainable product development. That's why we chose to develop a boat that releases its water very easily, has enough length at the waterline for a nice hull speed and is also built light, without being unstable. The Henley28 is the first Dutch sloop that was developed especially developed for electric boating. Try to find a better electric boat, we will wait for you.

The Reeves is a model in the Custom series from Menken Maritime. This 36-footer is designed to accommodate 2 persons. In the modern teak or oak interior you will find a spacious double bed, separate shower and toilet and a seating area for 2 people. An extra double bed under the wheelhouse is possible. The hull of the Reeves has been designed in such a way that she has good course stability when sailing slowly and planes well when sailing fast. The boat is available with various engine configurations from 110 to 2 x 300 HP. The Reeves can be delivered with propeller shaft drive or with Hamilton waterjets. In the cockpit you will find the steering position on starboard with the galley behind it and a passenger seat on port side with a bench seat behind it.
