The Boston Whaler Montauk series is Boston Whaler's oldest and most classic. The Boston Whaler 170 Montauk is derived from the Boston Whaler 170 Nausset, the first mid-console boat ever built. The Boston Whaler Montauk series includes the 150, 170, 190, and 210 Montauks. The Montauk series, starting at 19 feet (Boston Whaler 190 Montauk), features a self-draining cockpit, allowing rainwater to drain automatically and making maintenance very easy. Simply "spray it down" and the boat is clean again.
The Montauk has a V-hull and, thanks to its high buoyancy and shallow draft, planes quickly. The large center console offers ample storage space and shelters the captain from the wind. The Montauk series is ideal for water sports enthusiasts, fishermen, or simply as an all-around family recreational boat. Due to its low bridge heights, Kempers Watersport offers the solution of making the window above the console foldable, allowing the boat to sail under almost all bridges in the Netherlands. The Montauk's seat is a reversible pilot seat that can be adjusted to various positions, providing ample options for both standing and sitting.
