The Houseboats built by SL Boats are manufactured entirely in the Netherlands and surpass the competition when it comes to quality and durability. The base consists of two compartmentalized stainless steel floats, connected by a stainless steel intermediate container, forming a single, solid unit. The machined stainless steel compartments are connected by a welding robot and then individually press-tested and inspected. The superstructure consists of a very solid Light Steel Frame with high-quality insulation and uPVC window frames fitted with HR++ glazing. You can choose between electric and fuel-powered engines. Bow thruster preparation is standard, and navigation lights are also fitted as standard. The exterior of the boat is finished with a black bumper, aluminum railing, four stainless steel bollards, and solid-core plastic decking. This houseboat comes standard with a kitchen and bathroom, but a fully furnished version is also available. In short, a high-quality Dutch product at a competitive price! The Dutchess is a tribute to the Golden Age of Dutch yacht building, the 1970s. In this period Henk Lunstroo and Willem de Vries Lents, among others, drew beautiful yachts and cutters that were mostly built in steel. The Dutchess revives these times, an entirely new design with classic lines and a traditional interior. Designed and built to sail oceans, the Dutchess is a comfortable yacht with luxury accommodation for 6 people. Without a doubt the largest boat that does not require a license. Years ago we met a seasoned water sportsman. Together with our regular yacht architect Martin de Jager we developed and built the Dutchess for him. A sturdy pilothouse trawler of just under 15 meters. The client owned dozens of ocean-going vessels, but had no license to sail. We also started a construction project for ourselves, but for various reasons it is still unfinished. Simply put, we would rather have ten sloops in stock than one Dutchess. Other concepts such as charter rentals also proved difficult to round out. The tumultuous price developments of sea freight in the past two years and an increased focus on series construction made us decide to focus on boats up to 12 meters in length. And with that came the decision not to continue with the Dutchess. We have sold the moulds and building rights and are selling the boat under construction at a substantial discount. Namely for € 500,000, - excluding VAT. The boat is in an advanced stage of completion. To a certain extent there are possibilities to finish the boat according to the customer's wishes. Gebroeders van Enkhuizen is exclusive builder of Enksail Yachts. Enksail sailing yachts are characterized by spacious pilothouses: beautiful to look at, but also offers comfort and safety. During bad weather conditions, everyone can sit inside in a dry, warm and safe way. There is a 360 degrees visibility in the pilothouse, which is fine both while sailing and in the marina. This makes an Enksail ideally suited for long trips and long stays on board. Since 1999 we have been building steel Noordkapers to the design of Martin Bekebrede in the range from 40 to 60 feet. The Enksail Noordkaper is strong and an ideal touring yacht.  Yachting World  described her as a ‘go anywhere’ explorer yacht, and that is true. Our Noordkapers have made trips to the Caribbean, but also to the North Cape. The Enksail Noordkaper is a steel sailing yacht with many custom features. It is a unique ship where safety, luxury and comfort come together. Her sailing performance will positively surprise you. For example, an Enksail NK 43 finished in the middle of the field in the 2019 ARC Plus race. In 2020, an Enksail NK 40 even finished third in her class. The Enksail Noordkaper is cutter rigged and can easily be sailed by two people. Our Enksails are semi-custom. This means that you can leave your mark in terms of styling and layout. The interior can be tailored to your wishes, adjusted to the number of people abourd and where you’ll be sailing. As long as it fits inside the yacht, the possibilities are limitless. If you have an Enksail built with us, you are assured of a yacht of very good quality that will meet your personal wishes.
