The Montauk series from Boston Whaler is the oldest and most classic series from Boston Whaler. The Boston Whaler 170 Montauk is derived from the Boston Whaler 170 Nausset, which was the first mid-console boat ever built. The Boston Whaler Montauk series consists of the 150, 170, 190 and 210 Montauk. The Montauk series is from 19 feet (Boston Whaler 190 Montauk) with a self-draining cockpit, which allows rainwater to drain out of the cockpit by itself and makes maintenance very easy. Just "the syringe through the boat" and the boat is clean again. The Montauk has a V-hull and due to its high buoyancy and low draught is fast in plané. Because of the large central console there is a lot of storage space and as captain you are out of the wind. The Montauk series is very suitable for water sports enthusiasts, anglers or just as an all-round recreational boat for families. Due to low bridge heights, Kempers Watersport offers the solution to make the window above the console foldable, allowing the boat to sail under almost all bridges in the Netherlands. It's electrifying! We are convinced that electric boating will be a part of our future. But we are also convinced that a good electric boat will probably not be not be an existing diesel model with an electric motor. In electric boating, hydrodynamics, resistance, theoretical hull speed and water handling play a much larger role. More power and pushing costs excessive a lot of power, and adding unlimited batteries doesn't really testify to sustainable product development. That's why we chose to develop a boat that releases its water very easily, has enough length at the waterline for a nice hull speed and is also built light, without being unstable. The Henley28 is the first Dutch sloop that was developed especially developed for electric boating. Try to find a better electric boat, we will wait for you.
