Description

Particularly attractive, completely painted in 2021, Lemsteraak. Excellent sailing properties (sails 2020). Large sailing range. Lots of interior spac

Lemsteraak 'Egelantier' is a unique ship, possibly one of the first (welded) steel barges after WWII. She is well built at the yard Bijker in Gorinchem. The design was based on the Schollevaer II that existed at the time. In 1984 the mast and daggerboards were moved, the boom was shortened and the ship was fitted with a jib boom. All this resulted in a well trimmed barge with excellent sailing qualities. In the same year the cockpit and the interior were completely renewed, retaining the original layout and attractive interior. The Egelantier, which sailed under the name 'Elsa Johanna' for a long time, is considered to be sailing heritage (no. 709) and is described in detail under number 1325 in the SSRP list of vessels (www.ssrp.nl).

In 2021 a professional inspection took place on behalf of the insurance company, where underwater ship, skin penetrations and pipes were found approved. (Report available for inspection). The 'Egelantier' was completely painted in 2021, so she is ready to sail right away, waiting for a new owner! CURIOUS? CALL US TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT: 0515 - 44 27 50

Flat bottom boats for sale in the Netherlands

The historic appearance of the flat-bottomed boat is, among other things, what makes it so special. As the name implies, a flat bottom has a flat bottom that has no or almost no keel. The sailing yacht often has side swords, which is what makes it so characteristic. The boats are ideal for charter sailing and are also widely used in the Netherlands. But the flat-bottomed boats can also be used well for pleasure craft or as a houseboat.
