Enksail Halcyon 50
Gebroeders van Enkhuizen is exclusive builder of Enksail Yachts. Enksail sailing yachts are characterized by spacious pilothouses: beautiful to look at, but also offers comfort and safety. During bad weather conditions, everyone can sit inside in a dry, warm and safe way. There is a 360 degrees visibility in the pilothouse, which is fine both while sailing and in the marina. This makes an Enksail ideally suited for long trips and long stays on board. The Enksail Halcyon is a modern line of aluminum sailing yachts. In this design we incorporated all our experience and feedback from customers. For example, we are often told that there is a need for cooking with a view. From the Enksail Halcyon 50 it is possible to place the galley in the pilothouse. There even is a sinking window in the back of the pilothouse to create a connection between the galley and the life in the cockpit. Not only in the pilothouse, but also below deck there is sufficient light through big ports and large windows in the hull. A bed with ocean view? The Enksail makes it possible. Our yard has extensive experience in custom-built and will assist you with advice and assistance. A complete range has been developed from 45 to 80 feet. The Enksail Orion is an aluminium go-anywhere cruiser/explorer sailing yacht design by the famous Dutch designer Kees van de Stadt of Satellite Yacht Design. The Orion range consists of a 49 and 54-footer. The Enksail Orion not only has the appearance of a fast ship, and in fact she is. The hull is made entirely of aluminium. With a straight bow it is a modern ship. Because of the sporty hull shape, the ship has little displacement, which makes it easy to sail with less effort. The Enksail Noordkaper is perfect for long trips
The Enksail Noordkaper was designed by yacht designer Martin Bekebrede. This steel ship is seaworthy and ocean-going and is essentially intended for long trips.
The wheelhouse is spacious, with a comfortable and warm layout. In addition, it offers 360-degree visibility outside: even in heavy weather. The ship is a semi-custom build: this means that new buyers have a lot of influence on the layout and looks of the kaper.
There are four versions of the Noordkaper: the 40, 43, 46 and 52. The number represents, among other things, the length and size. The Noordkaper 40 is 12.95 meters, while the NK 52 is almost 17 meters long.
Other types of Enksail and Enkcraft yachts
In addition to the well-known Noordkaper, other luxury sailing and motor ships are also made. The Gebroeders van Enkhuizen divide their yachts into Enksail and Enkcraft.
Enksail Orion and Halcyon
Where a Noordkaper is primarily a cruiser, the Enksail Orion is a sporty variant. The Orion is made of aluminium and designed by yacht builder Kees van de Stadt. The aluminium ensures that the Orion moves easily through the water, and makes it relatively easy to maintain. There are two variants: Orion 49 and 54.
The Enksail Halcyon is also made of aluminium. The ship has a modern, sleek design with plenty of light in the deckhouse. You also have a view of the water from the sleeping quarters. In addition, the galley (kitchen) is located in the deckhouse in this ship. The Enksail Halcyon consists of two variants: the 45 and 50.
Enkcraft motor yachts
The Enkcraft Mackum is a motor yacht with double engines and a bow thruster for optimum manoeuvrability. The draft is minimal, which makes the ship ideal for lakes, rivers and canals. As with other ships from the Gebroeders van Enkhuizen, a lot of attention is paid to safety. For example, the Enkcraft Mackum is sensitive to impact and you can reach everything. The length varies from 13.5 to 18 meters.
The Enkcraft Statum is the big brother of the Mackum and perfect for open water. The line has ships up to 24 meters and offers a balance of comfort and sportiness. The Statum is extremely suitable for cruising the sea with a family or group of friends.
Finally, there is the luxurious Enkcraft Sossego Yacht, the largest line of (fast) aluminum motor yachts. The Sossego varies from 22 to 30 meters and is perfect for sailing the seas and oceans. There are two models: Comfort 22 and Sport 23, the latter of which easily reaches 40 knots (72 km/h). The Comfort 30 is also in development.
Jachtwerf Gebroeders van Enkhuizen from Makkum
Gebroeders van Enkhuizen is a yacht yard and all-round water sports company from Makkum. Safety and space are of paramount importance to the yard: their yachts are spacious and comfortably designed, and always offer a great view from the deckhouse.
The yard was founded in 1992, initially for the maintenance, repair and installation of yachts. Since 1999 they have also been building their sailing yachts, of which the Noordkaper was the first. They now build one or more Noordkapers every year. In addition, they also built other types of ships, including the Sossego Yacht, a fast-sailing luxury motor yacht.
