The boat has always been stored ashore during the winter, and in recent years even indoors in a hall. All maintenance and refurbishments have been carried out by professional shipyards. The engine has been serviced every year, most recently in July 2026.
In 2018, an Itauba rubbing strake including a stainless steel bumper strip was installed.
The fuselage was professionally painted in 2024. At the same time, the transom (scope) was re-laminated.
