Description

With her classic and elegant appearance, this historic salon / passenger vessel harmoniously combines tradition with modern gastronomy and comfortable day cruises. The vessel was originally built under the name ?Schwan? for the major Landi Exhibition on Lake Zurich (Zürichsee). She was later renamed to ?Halb-Insel AU?. In 1948/1949, the vessel was lengthened by approximately 4.5 metres. In 1998, she was taken out of service and brought to the Netherlands, where she underwent a renovation before being put back into service. The interior is stylish and bright, while the large windows provide panoramic views and a pleasant atmosphere on board. The ?Peter de Grote? offers flexible layout options and is ideally suited for corporate events, private functions like family celebrations and other special occasions. The vessel has an extensive cruising area and was recertified in 2024 for EU Zones 3 and 4, as well as for Dutch Zone 2 (restricted) and the Dutch rivers Rhine, Waal and Lek. In our view, this represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a distinguished passenger vessel, featuring main deck, salon and aft deck arranged on one continuous level. Thanks to her appearance, layout and certification, she is widely deployable in the Netherlands and Belgium, and will undoubtedly also be an eye-catcher in Germany, Austria, Slovakia or Hungary.

Historisch Passagiersschip, 100 passagiers
