    Short description A real Dutch flatbottom vessel, whose design dates from the first half of the 20th century. This Dutch Barge 13.60 ‘Kagenaar’ takes her name from the Kagerplassen in The Netherlands. Due to her flatbottom she is ideally suited for the shallow waters of the Netherlands, as well as other inland waterways in Europe. This allows her to access places inaccessible to many other vessels. The three solar panels ensure that the batteries are kept properly charged, allowing the ship to operate completely self-sufficiently for a period of time. The deck and superstructure were repainted in July 2025. The underwater hull was treated with a 2-component coating followed by a coat of antifouling in June 2023. Deze Kagenaar ontleent haar naam aan de Kagerplassen in Zuid-Holland. Dankzij haar vlakke bodem is ze bij uitstek geschikt voor de ondiepe wateren van Nederland, evenals andere binnenwateren in Europa. Hierdoor biedt ze toegang tot plekken die voor veel andere schepen onbereikbaar zijn. De drie zonnepanelen zorgen ervoor dat de accu’s goed op spanning blijven waardoor het schip enige tijd volledig zelfvoorzienend kan opereren. In juli 2025 zijn het dek en de opbouw opnieuw geschilderd. Het onderwaterschip is in juni 2023 behandeld met een 2-componenten coating gevolgd door een laag antifouling. De indeling van voor naar achter is als volgt: een voorkajuit met een 2-persoons bed, een salon met (slaap)bank, een kombuis, een badkamer met douche en toilet, en een overdekte stuurstand in de kuip voorzien van een zitje. Diese Dutch Barge 13.60 ‚Kagenaar‘ hat ihren Namen von den Kagerplassen in den Niederlanden. Aufgrund ihres Flachboden ist sie ideal für die flachen Gewässer der Niederlande und anderer Binnenwasserstraßen in Europa geeignet. Dadurch kann sie Orte erreichen, die für viele andere Schiffe unzugänglich sind. Die drei Solarpaneele sorgen dafür, dass die Batterien immer ausreichend geladen sind so dass das Schiff eine Zeit lang völlig autark fahren kann.
