Description
Pavilion Tjalk that served as an inland cargo ship that was subsequently converted into a Live Aboard Houseboat. This Pavilion Tjalk was built in 1893 with a length of 14.25 meters. She was extended in 1922 with approximately 2.50 meters to her current length. After the Second World War she was extended with approximately 5 meters but this was removed again in the early eighties. The pavilion serves as an engine room where a 3 cylinder Kromhout provides the propulsion. Over time, the seller has replaced the necessary steelwork and had the interior partially fitted out by a professional but there is still plenty of work to be done such as painting, replacing the rudder blade and making the anchor winch workable. Perhaps you would like to restore her into her former glory and make her sailable. If you are looking for a nice project that you can get started yourself, then this may be the ship you are looking for.

Find your dream yacht in the Netherlands
