Description
The limited edition of the Grand Sturdy ® 500 Variotop Diamond Edition.
This ship has always been used on inland fresh water in summer and winter and has an extremely careful owner. Because of mainly use on inland water there are no stabilizers installed, however, the installation is prepared. The current (and first) owner has deliberately chosen not to install them yet because of the vulnerability when sailing on inland waterways and extra fuel consumption.
In the spring of 2019 the wheelhouse has undergone a refit. The entire instrument panel including all (navigational) instruments was replaced. Two new Raymarine Axiom chartplotters have been installed with Raymarine's 'ClearCruise augmented reality'. These state-of-the art navigation instruments offer an unprecedented navigation experience. The (insulated) hood of the Linssen Variotop® has also been replaced, as has the leather of the seats in the wheelhouse and in the saloon.
The Diamond Edition was specially built to mark the 60th anniversary of the Linssen shipyard. This package includes the extended swimming platform including teak, Diamond colour scheme, various interior details regarding design and choice of materials, wheelhouse fully equipped with cherry wood panelling, extra storage compartment in dashboard, "cabin light" reading lamps in saloon, special version wet cells, aft deck equipped with U-shaped couch, teak spacer, luxury cushion set for deck chests incl. back cushions in imitation leather. Solid teak table with folding part on aft deck. Sails in Sunbrella beige, interior ceiling Variotop® in beige.
